I put my tips online not just for the “publicus bonus” but also so I can retrieve them (Google them) easily later. Another advantage to writing down my tips is that it reinforces my memory in the first place; and clarifies it in the second place.

My tips have expanded over the years from Vi(m) to MySQL, Cygwin, PHP, General programming tips, Best Productivity Programs etc.

Recently I have tried to see if I started to collect tips in other domains, studying tips, general life tips, personal development tips and my favorite “How to many money on the Internet Tips”

in your zsh tips at http://zzapper.co.uk/zshtips.html there is one minor thing I stumbled upon that might be a mistake: The case-insensitive completion as posted:
    zstyle ‘:completion:*’ matcher-list ‘m:{a-zA-Z}={A-Za-z}’ ‘r:|[._-]=* r:|=*’ ‘l:|=* r:|=*’
will not do case-insensitive substring completion. For that to work you would need:
    zstyle ‘:completion:*’ matcher-list ‘m:{a-zA-Z}={A-Za-z}’ ‘+r:|[._-]=* r:|=*’ ‘+l:|=* r:|=*’
    Best, jaseg
