Thanks!! Great piece of advice....I recently installed Windows 7 after Vista Home Premium...then found that Quickbooks Easy Start 10-11 wouldn't email client invoices as before. I kept getting an 'error message 20' about printer not activated when attempting to email. I downloaded the link above. Instead of using the email function which seems permanently useless now, I go to the print invoice option. Under "print invoice" I selected the cutepdf as my printer. Instead of printing the document it comes up with the "save as pdf" and "choose location to save the document in". after saving, I then go into Windows Live Mail and attach the document for sending to my clients. It's little bit more time consuming - but a great solution to Quickbooks Easy Start not recognising Windows Live Mail.

zzapper
I have been a great fan of your vim tips for many years (wrote to you once long back). Just found your zsh and other cheats/tips. However, I am surprised that you use a Windows machine and not Linux or a Mac.
Anyway, thanks for your cheatsheets.

If you're in the mood of trying out new stuff, I'd pop in the suggestion of trying out Propel ORM as well; but I don't now how hard it would be to incorporate it in CakePHP. (A non issue in other frameworks I've used).

<strong>Ad Hoc Version Control With Git...</strong>

In my blog post “How to do Ad Hoc Version Control” I suggested Mercurial as very good DVCS to use. However, Git is good enough I suppose, having not used it yet.......

You have a UUOC[1] there.

sed will accept a file as an argument. From the man page:

sed [OPTION]... {script-only-if-no-other-script} [input-file]...
